Mac Vs PC: A Conversation
XX: there is something wrong with yer blog, yer blog takes at least two days to get updated on Safari Web Browser. So can ya correct the mistake.
ME: i don't think there's anything i can do about that at my end, i've checked. maybe use internet explorer? a friend has suggested you press the F5 button to force a reload. other than that i'm afraid i don't know
XX: lol. I am using Macintosh, not Windows. Apple+R is for refresh and I do know how to refresh webpages.
ME: why are you using a mac? are you in arts, media, music, or some other such airy fairy industry?
XX: i am not in any of those fields. i use mac cos the operating network is stable, safe, and easier to use than Windows. Also it is state of art. Mac is more reliable than Windows.
ME: funny that because none of the pc users seem to be experiencing any problems. mac users should stop coming out with this kind of garbage to support their dedication. the only reason macs are still around is because they're fantastic to look at. why if i had the space i'd buy one just to sit on my desk so that i could look at it while tapping away on my pc. having used both macs and pcs, i can categorically say that the mac operating system is not easier to use than windows. you use a mac because you're a mac snob. end of.
XX: Macintosh is not as complicated as Windows. It is very easy to use. I am not being biased here. I have used both operating system for a long time and can say Macintosh is better. Even Linux is better than Windows. All Computer people will tell ya that.

If things are going right, Windows is probably better than Mac for a user .
When things go wrong - or more complicated - Mac is better than Windows.
I use Windows by the way.
For programmers/administrators - Mac is far ahead of Windows in technical superiority.
Simplest example is the security holes in Windows that you must have kept hearing about.
Bottomline: You summed it up pretty well - if you are a User who uses her PC for pretty much the 'normal' use - you are better off with a Windows PC.
dopey i agree with youse on this one. but windows is user friendly and has a friednly gui...is cheap and popular..but the least reliable(and secure) imo.
dopey: try disabling your cache settings and check if you still experience the same problems? another guess is it might be the script keya is using to track visitors which is taking ages to load on ur browser.

btw keya, if you want to avoid any spam comments on your blog you should turn on "word verification" option in your settings/comments tab.
but will that mean that every time a genuine contributor wants to post a comment they have go through the word verification? if they do then i don't reckon they'll contribute :-(

lol. well dopey..if things havent changed and youre still as regular on the almbs as you once were(along with iirc studying for a s/w engineering degree from a red brick uni)..i think you need something like a mac to prevent system crashes/overload and stuff. no wonder youre pro mac!

not surprised. i was always(without any proof of course) under the impression that windows stole from apple in the first place.
